The catalyst for this Student Pilot website was the openness, the inclusiveness and the general freedom of information sharing among all the pilots I met or flew with while I was a student in 2004. The idea for this Student Pilot website was born out of my appreciation for this sharing and my interest in passing along, in what manner I could as a new pilot, this same feeling. What started out as an informational email message growing in scope with each passing month naturally evolved into this site which brings with it more conveniences while it attempts to serve a broader audience.

While this site is dedicated to students of aviation everywhere, it will remain at the school where I started, King Flight Service in Pearland, Texas, (KLVJ). It is my hope that other students will pick up where I eventually leave off and will continue to make site an important resource for new Student Pilots everywhere.
